Custom 3D Metal Keyrings – Die Cast Promotional Keyrings with Soft Enamel Finish
We were commissioned to manufacture a range of bespoke 3D metal keyrings for our client to promote the television series Gangs of London. Designed as premium promotional merchandise, these custom keyrings combine precision die casting, raised metal detailing, and soft enamel infill to create a durable, high-quality branded product.
The project began by producing detailed CAD artwork of the client’s logo before creating a precision steel die for the casting process. This tooling allowed the logo to be manufactured with crisp raised lettering and recessed areas, giving the finished keyring a distinctive three-dimensional appearance and excellent tactile feel.
Each keyring was die cast in high-quality stainless steel before undergoing a series of finishing processes. The castings were carefully trimmed, polished, and nickel plated to produce a bright, mirror-like metallic finish that highlights the raised logo and surrounding detail.
Once polished, the recessed areas of the design were hand-filled with durable black soft enamel. This colour-filling process creates a striking contrast against the polished metal while providing a premium finish that is both hard-wearing and visually distinctive.
After the enamel had fully cured, the keyrings were assembled with heavy-duty jump rings and split key rings using precision crimping techniques to ensure long-lasting durability. Each finished keyring was individually inspected before packaging, ensuring consistent quality across the entire production run.
