Bespoke Luxury Sushi Presentation Boxes with Laser Cut Hardwood Lattice Lid
We were commissioned to design and manufacture a collection of luxury sushi presentation boxes for a prestigious automotive showroom, creating a unique dining experience that reflected the elegance and attention to detail associated with a premium vehicle brand.
The brief was to produce a sophisticated presentation box that combined natural materials with contemporary styling, making it suitable for serving high-end sushi during exclusive client events and VIP hospitality.
The hardwood presentation boxes were precision manufactured and fabricated before receiving a high-gloss grey sprayed finish, giving each box a sleek, modern appearance that complemented the showroom’s contemporary interior.
One of the defining features of the design is the beautifully detailed laser cut lattice lid, manufactured from 6mm solid beech wood. The intricate geometric pattern was carefully designed in CAD and precision laser cut to create a decorative centrepiece that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing. The natural timber insert provides warmth and texture while contrasting elegantly against the gloss grey finish.
Inside each box, we designed a bespoke removable insert manufactured from LD29 high-density black foam. Precision laser cut to create perfectly formed compartments, the insert securely houses the food presentation while providing a clean, premium appearance. The removable foam insert also allows the box to be easily cleaned and adapted for different serving requirements.
Every component was carefully assembled, finished, and quality inspected to ensure a flawless presentation. The combination of premium hardwood construction, precision laser cutting, handcrafted finishing, and custom foam engineering resulted in an elegant presentation box that enhances the overall dining experience.
A total of 36 bespoke presentation boxes were produced for this commission, demonstrating our ability to design and manufacture luxury hospitality products in small production runs while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.
From concept design through to CAD development, laser cutting, fabrication, finishing, and assembly, every stage of the project was carefully managed to deliver a truly bespoke product tailored to the client’s requirements.
