Custom Luxury Presentation Boxes with Precision Laser Cut Foam Inserts
We were commissioned to produce a bespoke luxury presentation box for a premium spirits brand, manufacturing a limited production run of 100 custom gift boxes. The objective was to create elegant retail packaging that would protect a premium brandy bottle while delivering a memorable unboxing experience worthy of a high-end product.
The project began with premium magnetic closure rigid presentation boxes, selected for their robust construction and luxury appearance. Each box was supplied as a flat-pack unit before being carefully assembled and prepared for the custom interior and branding.
To securely hold the bottle in place, we designed a bespoke foam insert using precision CAD software. Every bottle was carefully measured before the insert layout was created, ensuring a perfect fit that protected the glass bottle during transport while presenting it beautifully when the box was opened.
The inserts were precision laser cut from LD29 high-density black polyethylene foam, a material widely used for luxury packaging due to its durability, clean-cut finish, and excellent shock-absorbing properties. Our CO₂ laser cutting process produces exceptionally crisp edges, creating a premium appearance that complements the quality of the presentation box.
To complete the branding, each presentation box was finished with a gold hot foil embossed logo applied to the lid using a professional hot foil embossing press. The metallic gold foil contrasts beautifully against the black laminated box, creating an elegant and sophisticated finish that reinforces the premium nature of the product.
Every presentation box was assembled, inspected, and finished in our workshop before delivery to the client. The combination of luxury rigid packaging, precision laser cut foam, and premium foil embossing resulted in a bespoke presentation box that both protects the product and enhances the overall customer experience.
