Laser Cut Foam Inserts for Presentation Boxes

Our laser cut foam inserts are designed to provide outstanding product protection while creating an elegant presentation for luxury retail packaging and corporate gifts. Manufactured using premium LD29 closed-cell black foam, these bespoke inserts are precision cut using advanced CO₂ laser cutting technology to achieve exceptionally clean edges and highly accurate profiles.

This particular project was commissioned by the London Transport Museum for a range of presentation gift boxes featuring iconic Routemaster London bus collectable models. Each foam insert was carefully designed to cradle the miniature model securely while presenting it beautifully when the gift box is opened.

Using digital CAD drawings, every insert profile was engineered to follow the exact contours of the model. The result is a snug, protective fit that prevents movement during storage and transport while enhancing the premium presentation of the product.

The fine cell structure of LD29 foam makes it particularly suitable for precision laser cutting, producing crisp edges without tearing or distortion. The material is lightweight, durable, non-abrasive and ideal for protecting delicate products, making it widely used for luxury packaging, retail displays and museum-quality presentation cases.
